Long semester
Ok, so its been awhile since the last post, but I have a good reason. I am in the process of switching jobs and writing two 15 page papers before may 9th, along with two additional papers due by the 9th of may. I cannot wait until school is out. I have spring break next week and am planning on working the whole week to make some extra money and pay off some bills. I only have 6 more academic weeks of school, and now its crunch time. I found a mouse nest in the air filter of my truck this week, so that was fun to deal with, hopefully my truck will run better now. Well I better go, i have some errands to run before school.

Update
Well its warming up around here, its 6 degrees and were all wearing shorts and t-shirts. just kidding. School was canceled yesterday because it was -31 with the wind chill, so i just sat around until work, and i was even more tired because i realized im getting sick. I hate that feeling. Only 12 more weeks and school is out! the countdown begins!

Frozen
Life has been very hectic, and cold in the frozen tundra. I am trying to find a new car, go to school, and go to work, along with other things. But the highlight of the day is that the bears lost the super bowl, but besides all that, the packers beat the bears on new years eve, and rightfully places the bears to be inferior to the packers. Not too much else is going on except for being very cold, so if anyone needs any ice, ive got plenty.

Washington
Well, I just spent the last 12 days in washington to visit some of my family. Well I have been here I have been able to get alot done that I normally would not be able to do. I caught up on various projects, deadlines I needed to meet, and cleaning out my old room(because I'm getting married this spring) But most importantly, I caught up with my family. I learned more about them, and in a way, love them even more by spending this time together. I mended some (what I thought were rocky) relationships and better understood that I was the one that was selfish. I also got to know my niece better and cant wait until she, and everyone else comes out for our wedding. I still wish that we all lived closer to each other, but in a strange way, we are closer than we ever have been as a family. The one person that I will miss seeing most importantly is my grandmother. As I was kissing her goodnight tonight, she said she was sorry she would not be able to make it to my wedding because she is getting to old to travel that far. I completely understand, and just pray that I will be able to see her again soon. I realized that you really do start to miss something or someone when you are away from them. One verse that I do think of in the Bible that is comforting is where Jesus says: "I will never leave you nor forsake you." I love visiting with my family and cannot wait until this spring so that we can make more memories as we start a new life together.

Stories
OK. Due to an unruly amount of comments from my siblings(you know who you are) I am posting this story. First off, yes a whoopie cushion will be used this year at Christmas, Second, I used this template, not knowing it was my sisters template,(because i can never read hers anymore, I cant access it.) I just liked it because it does fit me personallity. Ever Think about that one. and Thirdly, here is the real story of the Montgomery Wards incident
One snowy day, my father and I went out on an excursion to buy my mother a Christmas gift on Christmas Eve. We went to a couple of stores and I wasnt feeling too good. I asked if he could take me home and he replied"we havnt bought anything yet" As we entered The Store, I was feeling very hot and uncomfortable. I told dad I was going to the bathroom. as soon as I turned around, before I took my first step, BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
all over the jewelry counter. As I stood there in disbelief, others apparantly were surprised at the unfortunate event. The last thing I remember was a voice over the loud speaker
"Clean up at the jewelry counter please."
After that dad had no idea what had happend until all the commotion was around the jewelry counter and I explained what had happened. As my memory serves me, We still shopped at more stores for about 2 hours, even though I was sick. Finally he took me home, and I threw up every half an hour during Mr. Hollands Opus(I still havnt seen the whole movie) MY sister and father finished shopping later.

My Day
Well, today, there is not much going on. I only have three more finals and Ill be done on Tuesday with this semester. I cant wait. I also had a blessing last night. I needed to pay part of a doctor bill this sunday, and I worked at the restaurant last night. I prayed that I would get enough to pay this months bill. I made $1.00 more than what I needed to pay. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Christmas
YOUR THREATS DONT SCARE ME, I TOO HAVE PICTURES!
Does any one remember how we got dad with the whoppie cushion on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and his birthday all in the same year. I think we still have it on tape somewhere. (I should go buy one for this year. ha ha ha.
Princess of quite a lot, you montgomery story is pretty close, but when I have more time, I will expound on the story. Thanks for sharing that one.

A Tribute to My Beautiful Car
Lately, the cold weather has been affecting the old man. when it gets too cold, he doesnt want to switch gears. I have even tried parking it in the garage, and letting it run for 10 minutes. But, I am thankful for everywhere it has taken me. In the last two years since my sister and brother-in law sold it to me (very graciously) I have driven over 40,000 miles on it. And it is still (for the most part) running great. I just pray that I can get through finals and this winter, and that the old man will last that long also. If not, maybe God has a better car out ther for me. ( Maybe that 91 Pontiac Firebird for $1,000 down the street) Just kidding. (Look for family Christmas stories coming soon on my blog)
